Mr. Ray Edward King, 72, of Jena, La. was born on January 26, 1945 in Lake Garfield, FL and passed from this life on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in West Monroe, La. Mr. King worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Jonathan King and wife, Teresa of Jena and Dustin King and wife, Betty of Mangham; daughter, Desiree King of Mangham; brothers, Albert Doyle King and wife, Betty of Jacksonville, FL and Joe Ray King and wife, Kitty of Winter Haven, FL; sister, Gerry Deal and husband, Kenneth of Oak Harbor, OH and grandchildren, Dakota King, Adam Benoit, Logan King, Anna Lusk and Savannah King.
