Maude Cox was born in Noble Oklahoma, daughter of George H. Hunt and Ethel (Newville) Hunt on October 5, 1925. She was married to William Rufus (Bill) Cox on July 14, 1945. She is the mother of six children, William Rufus Cox Jr, David Lee Cox, Thomas Martin Cox, Daniel Lynne Cox, Mary Ann Highfill and Joy Beth Larson. She is the grandmother to eleven grandchildren, Andra Nelson, Lyndsey Wilson, Dustin Cox, Jessie Cox, Amanda Roush, Jeremiah Cox, Daniel Cox Jr., David Cox, Jessica Castagna, Joshua Larson and Scott Larson. She has 16 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son David and her Husband William R. (Bill) Cox.

Maude was a homemaker, dorm parent at Dallas Bible Institute and cook at Hidden Falls Ranch. She was very active in her church and a member of the Republican Party in Mesquite, Texas.

Maude’s life was centered on her children and her grandchildren. Her life’s work was to make sure they all knew the path of salvation and eternal life so she can see all of them again in Heaven. She will be missed.

A graveside service for Maude will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 1:00 PM in the Garden of Inspiration at Restland Memorial Park.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
