Danny Joe Caldwell, 62, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
He was born Mar. 17, 1954, in Portageville, Mo.
Danny was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era. Danny was a champion pool player, was a skilled cartoon artist and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed working on old cars and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Daisy Caldwell, and one brother, George Allen Caldwell.
Survivors include one son, Presley Caldwell of Paragould; three daughters, Stephine Berdeaux (Kenny) of Florida, Vanessa Conner (Jack) of Dexter, Mo., and Dana Darmofal (Chris) of Catron, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by six sisters, Daisy Howard of Marmaduke, Reba Delaine Caldwell of Hanover, Ind., Mary Kathryn Coleman of Plant City, Fla., Connie Ann Calhoun of Lawrenceville, Ga., Maxine M. Elizondo of La Villa, Texas, and Joan Marie Collins of Rector; and by the mother of his children, Mary Kathy Lester of Parma, Mo..
Funeral services were held at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould with burial in Linwood Cemetery.
