Evelyn loved to knit and crochet, work in her beautiful flower garden, play cards, do crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She loved to be active and was an incredible tennis and ping pong player. She loved to bowl and play armchair volleyball. Evelyn was an avid sports fan and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes where 11 members of her family have, are or will be attending. She was a long time member of Mason Methodist Church, Warren County Garden Club, Mason Grange and the Order of Eastern Star. She worked in the water office in Mason as a clerk for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband John Thomas Cammett, second husband Elmer Everett Landen as well as her siblings Laurence (Caroline) Swaine, Eleanor (Ralph) Campbell, Sidney( Mildred) Swaine, Herbert (Mary) Swaine, Stephen (Rena) Swaine, Arthur Swaine.
Evelyn is survived by her children John (Trish) Cammett, Elizabeth (Brad) Oelman, Ralph Cammett, Janice (Mitch)Bonham, William (Mary) Cammett, Everett (Barb) Landen. Maryann (née Landen) (Bob) McDonald predeceased Evelyn. She has 16 grandchildren Kathy Cammett, Karen Wallace, Cammett Oelman, Kimberly Donnan, Ford Oelman, Ralph Cammett, Mindy Duin, Brian Bonham, Brendan Bonham, Wade Cammett, Clark Cammett, Eric Landen, Heidi Greene, Josh McDonald deceased,Jonathan McDonald deceased and Dana McDonald and 20 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 5th from 5:00-7:00pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 10:00am at the Mason Christian Village Stone Center, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
