Nancy Judith Beaver, 77, of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away Monday, February 27, 2017, at her home. She was the widow of Ralph L. Beaver, Jr.

Born May 5, 1939, in Harrisburg, she was daughter of the late Herman Arthur Lindsey and Anna K. Musser.

Nancy was part Native American and was a homemaker for many years as well as being a Sunday School teacher. Later she worked as a nursing assistant at the former Villa Teresa Nursing Home. She enjoyed going to the beach with her sisters, watching movies from the 30s and 40s, crafts, singing, cooking, gardening and her flowers. She loved her dog, Mimi, and cats, Midnight, Magic, and Queenie. Nancy was very close with her great-grandson, Willam, who she was raising.

Surviving are 2 sons, David Mumma and Mic Mumma and his wife, Kathy; 2 daughters, Jenny Sponaugle and her husband, Joe, and Dianna Snyder; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; 2 brothers; 6 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

An evening viewing will be held Monday, March 6, 6-8:00 p.m. at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Second viewing will be held Tuesday, March 7, from 10-11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the funeral.
