Warner Robins woman killed in Bibb wreck.
A Warner Robins woman's life was claimed yesterday afternoon when the van she was driving left a rain-slicked road and flipped several times in West Bibb County. She was thrown from the van and landed an estimated 40 feet from it.
Dawn Annette Hughes, 26 of Oklahoma Ave. was driving on Thomaston Road when she lost control of the Curaflex Health Services van she was driving and it skidded off the road.
The van went airborne and flipped several times, finally resting 350 feet from where it originally left the road.
The accident was witnessed and reported by a passerby who was traveling through the area.

Dawn Annette Hughes, 26 of Oklahoma Ave. died Wednesday.
Services will be held Saturday in the McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery with Order of Eastern Star officiating. The Rev. Evan H. Bergwall will officiate.
A native of Sumter County, S.C., Miss Hughes lived in Warner Robins for 17 years, moving here from California. She was an oxygen medical technician with Cureflex Health Services. She attended the School of Nursing at Macon College. She was a member of Martha Berry Chapter of Rainbow Girls and Order of Eastern Star. She was a graduate of Macon College with an associate's degree in business.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Hughes Sr. of Warner Robins; and a brother [named] of Fort Campbell, Ky.
The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home.
