Virginia Tennessee Goin was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Canon Goin and the sister of my great-grandfather, James Henry Goin.
She was married twice. Her first husband was Stephen Alphonse Ballard (1870-1895) with whom she had two children, Thomas Arnold and Mary Alta.
Her second husband was her first cousin once removed, John David Goins. Their children were: Anna Letha, Lillie Mae, Albert, Essie M. and James Ezra.
