Frances Falk was born in Wisconsin, a daughter of Walter Greb and Lena Hoock. She had siblings John Henry "Harry" 1881–1964, George Fredrick 1882–1948, Eva Marie 1884–1981, Josephine M. 1886–1925, Grace E. 1889–1977, Edward Walter 1891–1959, Reuben Almor 1893–1932, Adelbert "Delbert" E. 1896–1979, Raymond Ralph 1899–1971, Mitchell Elmer 1904–1958 and Howard Joseph 1908–1972.

Her family lived in Waukesha, Wisconsin where her father was a carpenter.

She married Carl Henry Gerbensky 1902-1944 in about 1920. They had a son Chester Francis 1920-2005. They were divorced by 1930.

Frances had a second marriage to Carl John Carl Falk 1902-1983. They apparently did not have children.

They lived in Waukesha, Wisconsin where he was an upholster furniture company in 1930 and by 1940 he worked for the Waukesha Motor Company. Frances was a secretary.

They retired to Peoria, Arizona.

Survivors included her son, Chester Gerbensky; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
