McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Tommy Bonner, age 66, was born September 5, 1950 and died February 18, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.

Retired from Roses Department Store, a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, and a member of the Church of Christ,

He was the son of the late William Nathaniel and Irene Hollins Lee Bonner. He was married April 27, 1977 to Edith Alene Mount who preceded him in death on September 19, 1999.

He is survived by three nieces, Lynn Pleasant, Kinnette (Randy) Adams, and Keisha Carr all of McMinnville; two nephews, Albert Pleasant of Shelbyville, TN and Corey Pleasant of McMinnville; five great-nieces, Aaliyah Chadwell, Alexus Pleasant, Keandra Adams, Alicia Adams and Ashley Rutledge; five great-nephews, Nicholas Mathis, Daylin Chadwell, Preston Pleasant, Logan Pleasant and Kristopher Adams; and best friends, Zollie Settles and Robert "Bub" Bonner both of McMinnville.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Bro. George King and Bro. Eugene Wilkerson officiating. Full military honors will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
