Lewis Edgar Grant, 99, of Roanoke passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was a member of Central Church of the Brethren. Lewis was a man of great ingenuity and could do almost anything. He retired from City of Roanoke Water Department.
Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel S. Grant and daughter, Sharon Kinzie.
He is survived by his daughter, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Shaver Cemetery, Bent Mountain with President Kevin Bohon conducting. The family requests no flowers and donations may be made to Camp Bethel, 328 Bethel Road, Fincastle, VA 24090. www.oakeys.com
