Polly was born in Newton, Illinois on April 28th, 1931.  She was married to Loren Boyd at the age of 16 on Dec. 12th 1947.  They moved their small family to Gilroy in 1965. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Loren Boyd. Polly and Loren enjoyed traveling the U.S. in their motorhome.  They were avid fishermen and always had a fish tale to tell.    Polly loved going to the family cabin, the holidays, telling stories of her childhood, and spending time with family and friends.  Polly’s biggest pride and joy was her family.  She has made some very precious memories for all to remember her by.
She is survived by her son Steven Boyd and wife Rhonda, grandson Ryan Boyd and his wife Nicolette, grandson Brent Boyd, and great-grandchildren Camren & Colette Boyd.
Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service Saturday March 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the Gavilan Hills Memorial Park in Gilroy. A reception will follow at West Side Grill located at 8080 Santa Teresa Blvd. in Gilroy.
