PIERRE HAYNES, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES SATURDAY
A former Elwood resident, Pierre Haynes, 65, died at 10 a.m. Saturday at his home in Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held in Indianapolis, and the body will be brought to Elwood for burial, probably Tuesday
Mr. Haynes and his wife, the former Nelle Kidwell, were both 1903 graduates from Elwood high school. He was a chemist and incentor. He operated his own business in Indianapolis. His father, the late George W. Haynes, operated a real estate and insurance business in Elwood for several years.
Surviving with the widow are two brothers, Herman Haynes, California, and Parke Haynes, New Mexico, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Osborn, Indianapolis.
