GEO. KASSEBAUM, FRENCH VILLAGE FARMER, DIES

George Kassebaum, 65-year-old truck farmer of French Village, died in St. Elizabeth's Hospital at 11 o'clock this morning following two years' illness. Mr. Kassebaum had been a surgical patient at the hospital since April 1.
A native of Belleville, Mr. Kassebaum was born May 20, 1884, a son of the late William and Elizabeth Kassebaum, nee Linne and married Mary Ann Larobardier April 26, 1927.
Surviving besides his wife are three sisters: Mrs. Minnie Govenor, Sacramento, Cali.; Mrs. Emma Flender, St. Louis and Mrs. Lottie Vogt, 421a South Illinois Street.
Mr. Kassebaum was a member of the East St. Louis Knights of Columbus Council for more than 40 years and had been a Fourth Degree KC for 33 years.
