Georgia M. Congleton, 95, of Campbellsburg, died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Baptist Hospital Northeast Hospice Unit in LaGrange.
She was a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church and daughter of the late Hugh and Sudie Lewis Gregory.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Sue Jones, Bedford; one son, Larry Congleton, Campbellsburg; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Alma Faye Hobbs, 1-grandchild, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 10 at 11 a.m. at Ransdell Funeral Home in Campbellsburg. Reverend Kevin Webb officiated. Interment was at the Congleton Cemetery in Beattyville.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Gideon's International Memorial Bible Program, P.O. Box 267, Campbellsburg, KY 40011.

CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. - Georgia M. Congleton, 95, of Campbellsburg died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at Baptist Hospital Northeast Hospice Unit in LaGrange, Ky.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Ransdell Funeral Home in Campbellsburg, with the Rev. Kevin Webb officiating. Burial was in the Congleton Cemetery in Beattyville, Ky., with a graveside service.
Mrs. Congleton was born August 23, 1911, in Clay County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Sudie (Lewis) Gregory.
She was a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flowers, and especially loved cooking for her family. This brought everyone together, including all of her grandchildren, whom she cherished.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Sue Jones of Bedford; a son, Larry Congleton of Campbellsburg; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Alma Faye Hobbs; a grandchild; five brothers; and four sisters.
