The family will receive relatives and friends 12:00 to 1:45 pm prior to the service.
Surviving: husband, Chester Ervin “Buddy” Watkins; daughter, Susan Henley (Curtis) of Wake Forest; sons, Curtis Watkins (Wanda) of Wake Forest, Kenneth Watkins (Cindy) of Wake Forest, Gregory Watkins (Kathy) of Knightdale; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren sisters, Gale B. Wilkes of Wake Forest, Elaine B. O’Day of California; brother, Danny Bunn of Zebulon.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her brother Hoyt Bunn.

∼Sylvia was resident of Franklin and Wake County, NC, most of her life. She was married to Chester Ervin Watkin. They had 4 children. She was a very religious person. She was employed by Corning Electronics in Raleigh, NC, for a period of 27 years. Her death was caused by aplastic anemia, a rare blood disease that affect only about 2 individuals in a million.
