Toledo Blade Obituary published March 1, 2015 reads:
Evelyn C. Walsh, 90, passed away on February 26, 2015, in Anderson, Indiana where she enjoyed spending time with sons Greg and Dennis. She was born October 4, 1924, to Stanley and Sophie (Landowski) Czernaikowski in Toledo, Ohio.
Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her Seniors group and the many bus trips she went on. Evelyn also enjoyed entertaining the Seniors group by dressing in various costumes and often hosting a reception gathering with her sister in their room. In addition, she enjoyed playing pinochle with family and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brothers, Albin "Beany" and Joseph Czerniakowsk.
She will be missed by her brother, Raymond Czerniakowski, (Barbara), and sister, Joan (Richard) Sochacki; daughter, Kathleen Schrock, sons, Gregory (Kathy) and Dennis. She had 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Family and friends may visit at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Tuesday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. and there will be a Recitation of the Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at St. Hyacinth Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
