Marcia C. Hill, 86, of Muscatine, died Monday, January 22, 2007, at her home.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street. Reverend John Meyer of the Grace Lutheran Church will officiate. Casket bearers will be Jesse Gonzalez, Erik Olson, Brian Walter, Robert Walter, Donne Wagner, and Dr. Don Fick. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
Marcia was born on March 14, 1920, in Lake Township, Muscatine County, the daughter of Clifford Christian Stamm and Frieda Kindler Stamm Goines. Her first marriage was to Clarence Bud Olson in 1941. He was killed in World War II in Southern France. She later married Howard Hill on April 3, 1955, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1998.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
She was a graduate from Moline Public Hospital and was a retired registered nurse.
Survivors include one son, Ryno W. Olson and wife, Anne, of Muscatine; two grandchildren, Kristin Gonzalez and husband, Jesus, of Olathe, Kansas, and Erik Olson and wife, Kristina, of Heath, Ohio; and five great-grandchildren, J.J., Alex, and Joel Gonzalez, and Edward and Michelle Olson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
