Mr. Kenneth Ray Frederick was born September 28, 1952 to the late Joseph Reno Frederick and Bertha Rue (Small) Frederick. He was raised in Dickinson, Texas, attended Dunbar High School and lived there until his departure from this earth.
Mr. Frederick passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital surrounded by his family and friends.
Mr. Frederick is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John (Cush) Frederick and son, Kent Lamar Rice.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Kenneth Ray (Marquita), Billy Potts (Sylina), Marcus Rice (Raven), Charlotte Henderson (Kinnie), Eureka Purcell (Cody), Christopher Rice and Tre Frederick; godchildren, Mary Goodwin and Yolonda Rice; seven sisters, two brothers, 32 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Public Visitation will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM followed by A Celebration of His Life at 11:00 AM. Both Services will be held at the Chapel of Carnes Funeral Home 3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, TX 77591.
Burial will follow at Paradise South Cemetery, Pearland TX. Memorials may be sent to the Funeral Home.
