David, age 83, passed away at Medicalodge of Coffeyville. He was the son of James Albert and Lily (Matthews) Dobson. He graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School and was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War. He married Betty Wilson on January 30, 1953, in Tulsa.

Survivors include his wife, his children, Jerry Dobson, Debra Bauder, Janet Ross, and Diana Barton, his siblings, Jesse Dobson and Mary Bruno, eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, James Allen Dobson and David Albert Dobson Jr., his siblings, Paul Dobson, Johnny Dobson, James Dobson, Alberta Dobson, and Nora Dobson, and one grandson, David Gene Dobson (Memorial #50007347).

Services were held at the First Assembly of God. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville.
