Richard Warren Pool, son of Harry Francis Pool and Ruth Isabel Powell of San Francisco, CA passed away peacefully at his home in Scotts Valley, CA the night of February 7th. He was 87 years old.
He is remembered by his son, Kirby Vinton Pool of Los Gatos, CA and his five grandchildren.
Richard Pool was a veteran of the Korean War, a past president of Pacific General Contractors where he was responsible for major home and commercial building projects all over the the Bay Area and in Sacramento.
Since 1998 he was a resident of Santa Cruz County and worked as an Architect/ Home designer until his retirement in 2014. He was an avid outdoorsman and a lifelong pilot like his father before him. He was an artist and photographer with an undying curiosity for the world around him... and a great sense of humor. Pool's puns will be greatly missed.
