Born June 9, 1923 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late David G and Rosie (Wildasin) Sebright.
Thelma loved puzzles, books and board games. She also cherished fellowship with her friends at Golden Visions. After working at SKF for 25 years, Thelma retired in 1989.
Thelma is survived by 5 children: Nancy S. Miller and her husband, Raymond of Hanover, James D. Sanders and his wife, Linda of Spring Grove, Susan E. Clark of Hanover, Richard E. Sanders and his wife, Darlene of East Berlin and Karen E. Flickinger and her husband, “Flick”, with whom Thelma resided, as well as her beloved granddog, Snickers. She is also survived by 6 siblings: Emma Bair of Hanover, June McIlwee of Hanover, Carlyn Sebright of New Oxford, Betty “Winifred” Shorb of Hanover, Shirley Gingrich of Chambersburg, Nancy Prevedelli of California and Junior Sebright of Alabama, as well as 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Thelma was preceded in death by 5 brothers: Merle, Kermis, Charles, Earl, Fred; 1 sister: Sylvia Laughman; 1 grandson: Brian Brill and 1 great-granddaughter: Yolanda Torres.
Following a service to celebrate Thelma’s life with Rev. Dr. Daniel Yeiser officiating, interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
