Son of the late Victor Milligan and Edith VanDunk Milligan, he was born September 19, 1944 in Ringwood, NJ. Richard was a retired Truck Driver and Warehouse Manager with Rockland Paper of Nanuet, NY. He attended Calvary Assembly of God in Monroe, NY and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Margaret Milligan at home; his son Richard A. Milligan, Jr. and wife Jessica Sung Milligan of Honolulu, HI; his grandson Jacob; his brother Darrell Milligan and wife AnnMarie Milligan of Ringwood, NJ; and a host of friends, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his brother Frederick Milligan and sister Helene Mann.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950 (845)782-8185 www.ssqfuneralhome.com.
