Richard A. Milligan, Sr. passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at his home in Washingtonville, NY. He was 71 years old. Son of the late Victor Milligan and Edith VanDunk Milligan, he was born September 19, 1944 in Ringwood, NJ. Richard was a retired Truck Driver and Warehouse Manager with Rockland Paper of Nanuet, NY. He attended Calvary Assembly of God in Monroe, NY and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Margaret Milligan at home; his son Richard A. Milligan, Jr. and wife Jessica Sung Milligan of Honolulu, HI; his grandson Jacob; his brother Darrell Milligan and wife AnnMarie Milligan of Ringwood, NJ; and a host of friends, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his brother Frederick Milligan and sister Helene Mann.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950 (845)782-8185 www.ssqfuneralhome.com. The Funeral Service will be held at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 officiated by Pastor Gary Pignaloso.
