Miss Veronica McDermitt
Mt Savage - Miss Veronica McDermitt, 84, died Sunday at her home here following an extended illness. A daughter of the late Francis B and Mary C (O'Brien) McDermitt, she was a retired postal employee. Miss McDermitt was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church, the Sodality and Catholic Daughters. Surviving are a sister, Mrs Catherine Colpeston, Mt Savage and a number of nephews and nieces. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg.
