Paula loved to sing and dance, especially at church. She always had stories to tell, and knew everyone. Paula could tell you anything about the weather. She collected DVDs and loved to watch movies. Paula had a big heart, and loved her family. She always knew when someone needed a safe place to land.
Paula is survived by her life partner, James Wright; children, Heather Sheagley, Paula Douglas, Donald (Jamey) Sheagley and Holly Sheagley; stepchildren, Mark Wright, Angi Turnpaugh, James Wright Jr., and Donald (Sheila) Wright; and siblings, Kerry (Terri) Name, Mick (Lavena) Name, Kenneth Larry Name and Leota (Cliff) Duke. She was Nana to multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Matthew Name and Madondra Name; stepson, Brian Wright; brother, Donnie Name; sisters, Darla and Starla Name, Pat Pratt, and Thelma Regina McKay; and her best friend, JoAnn.
Friends and family may call from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel. A service will follow at 1 p.m. Paula will be laid to rest at Crown Point Cemetery.
