Robert "Bob" Crowder, 61, a master electrician, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at a Mesquite hospital.

Bob was born July 21, 1945, in Fort Worth to the late Jack and Lola Crowder Crittenden and graduated from Diamond Hill High School.

As a master electrician, he retired from Wal-Mart, then worked for Marlow Industries, where his team was awarded the Malcolm Baldridge Award for their developmental work on the Hubble Telescope.

He was a friend to all he encountered and never met a stranger. Bob was a tireless caretaker to Linda and spent many happy hours hunting with his brother, Jerry, and his nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; and sister, Janie Kesler.
