Lois Stern, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stern, died this morning at the home of her parents near Sanborn. She had been an invalid since she was 1 1/2 years old.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran church at Lamberton with Rev. Nels Lillejord officiating. Wollard Engeswick will be soloist accompanied by Mrs. Lenora Theis. Pallbearers will be Robert Matzke, Edward, Eugene, William Jr., and Lee Stern and Robert Thordson. Interment will be in Sanborn cemetery.
Friends may call at Kluegel Funeral Home at Sanborn from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Miss Stern was born at Springfield March 1, 1950. Survivors include her parents; twin brother, Louis; sisters, Mabel, Mary, Martha, Leona and Ethel; a half-brother, Clyde; and grandfather, William Stanek, Sanborn.
