Kayla J. Evans, 32, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, 3:30 a.m., at her residence.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a teacher for the Youth Department, was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was employed in Customer Service with DIRECTV.

Kayla is survived by her son, Ja’Mian Riley of Paducah; parents, Gary Evans and Brenda Watson Evans of Paducah; three sisters, Tonya Lee and Alexandria Evans both of Paducah and LaShantee’ Evans of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Brian Holland and Eric Holland, both of Paducah; paternal grandmother, Claudette Finnell of Connersville, IN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Thelma Wade Watson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2017, 12:00 noon at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Anthony Daniels and Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
