Obituary for Claudia Elizabeth Maysey
Claudia E Maysey, 73 of Cloverport passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Signature Health Care of Hartford in Hartford, KY.
She was born on February 8, 1944 in Horse Branch, KY to the late Victor Thomas and Norma Lee Burnette Goatley. Claudia was a factory worker and a Methodist and belonged to the Stephensport United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Maysey; brothers, Ernie & Gary Goatley; sisters, Christine Smith and Doris Jean Compton.
Leaving behind to mourn her passing, but celebrating the life that she lived is her son, Ricky Lee (Kathy) Milam of Tennison, IN; daughter, Sonya Lynn Raley of Horse Branch, KY; stepson, Jeff Maysey of Glasgow, KY; brothers, Billy Gene (Nancy) Goatley of Vine Grove, KY, Walter Thomas (Patsy) Goatley of Hardinsburg, Roger Dale Goatley of Westview, KY; sisters Ada Marie (Reggie) Curry of Malone, NY & Vicki Lou (Frank) Milburn, Irvington, KY; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 am Saturday, February 25 at Cloverport Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Willerson officiating with burial following at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Stephensport. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Cloverport Funeral Home.
