Vicki Gaye Loggains Lawrence, daughter of the late Eugene Ellis Loggains and Jackie Imogene Haley Loggains, was born October 13, 1944 in Batesville, Arkansas. She departed this life February 23, 2017 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Johnny Lawrence. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she was employed by Tri County Shirt Company in Salem. She retired from the Glove Factory in Calico Rock after many years of employment. She was an active member of the Redbud Extension Homemaker Club. She enjoyed being a part of the Izard County and District Fair as a exhibitor and judge. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Melbourne First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two brothers: Ronny Loggains and wife Candy and James Loggains and wife Patty; one sister: Sheila Cooper and husband Bob all of Melbourne; one nephew and three nieces: Duane Cooper, Jamie Loggains, Jessica Engles and Joni Knapp and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one niece: Christol Cooper.

Visitation will be Friday, February 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Melbourne First Baptist Church with Rick Burke officiating. Burial will be at Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
