She departed this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Annie was the daughter of the late Mary Kate McLaughlin and the granddaughter of the late Julian McLaughlin.
She is survived by her sons, Claude Nathaniel McLaughlin and his wife, Annie, and Thuron Bey McLaughlin and his wife Fely; her daughter, Darlene McDowell and her husband, Joe; one sister, Parthenia McLaughlin; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and the latest addition to the family, Victoria Joy, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m., Ingram Branch Presbyterian Church, West End.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
