Amy Dees Hunt, 53, passed away on February 15, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Amy was born March 7, 1963, in Webster County, the daughter of Elizabeth Ann Gaskin and the late Walter Terry Wells. Amy was a Baptist and attended Hebron Baptist Church. Amy was a seamstress at Big Yank and American Bosch. Amy was an avid and accomplished cook, a very talented writer, artistic in drawing and painting, and brought life to any event. Amy was preceded in death by her father: Walter Terry Wells and her daddy: Billy Joe Ayres.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 2:00 P.M.from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Sallee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include Her Two Daughters, Amanda "Mandi" Trulove (Kevin Freeman) and Candice Ryals (Matthew Hill) both of Maryland Heights, MO; Her son, Garrett Dees of Columbus; Seven Grandchildren; Dylan Doss, Hayden Bock, Seth Langley, Gavin Fair, Maryellen Langley, Shiann Langley, and Elijah Hill; Her Mother, Ann Gaskin Ayres of West Point and Her Brother, Johnny Ayres (Kerri) of Sandersville,

Pallbearers will be Garrett Dees, Johnny Ayres, Matt Hill, Jim Northington, Justin Simmons, and Dylan Doss.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Gaskin, Chuck Gaskin, Ryan Northington, Shawn White, Seth Langley, Gavin Fair, and Hayden Bock.

Memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, P.O. Box 526, West Point, MS 39773.

Visitation will be Friday 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
