Effie Everett of Grahamsville, a lifelong area resident and a homemaker, died Sunday, December 5, 2004, at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Home in Liberty. She was 86 years of age.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Brooks Sheeley, she was born May 23, 1918, in Pataukunk. She was the widow of Nial J. Everett.
Mrs. Everett was a member of the Grahamsville Reformed Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews and their families, Helen Mickelson, John Krom, Robert Krom and Anne Krom; a brother-in-law, Arnold Everett of Sarasota, Fla.; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and several great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews.
Services were held Wednesday at the Grahamsville Reformed Church with the Rev. Paul Ruter officiating.
Burial was made in the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery.
