October 31, 1932 - November 1, 2016 Louis Wood Robinson, 84, passed peacefully on November 1, 2016 in Pasadena, CA with his two daughters by his side. Born in San Francisco, CA he was the only child of Louis L. and Eileen Delaney Robinson. He was raised in San Marino, CA and graduated from USC in 1957. He was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and competed in the decathlon. While at USC he met and married Charlotte Madsen and together they had three children: Tracy, Kelly and Greg. He married Suzanne Luscombe in 1972. In 1989 he married Janis Cohen to whom he remained married until his passing. He worked primarily in the construction industry as an executive manager in sales and distribution and as a general contractor. He was well-respected for his integrity, professionalism and ingenuity. He loved being outdoors, especially at the beach or on the golf course. He made his own surfboards and developed a love for the game of golf. He joined the San Gabriel Country Club and eventually became the club's president. In later life, Lou and Jan became avid philanthropists and devoted significant time to Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House in Loma Linda and the Borzoi Rescue. He loved Mustangs and enjoyed participating in southern California car shows with his beautiful 1973 Mustang Convertible. He is survived by his brother Howard Martyn of Newport Beach, CA, his sister Gwen Roby of Newport Beach, CA, his children: Tracy Danza of Studio City, CA, Kelly Perez of Manhattan Beach, CA and Greg Robinson of Vista ,CA, his step-children: James Luscombe of Monterey, CA, Kelly Bea of Ojai, CA, Liz Buckingham of Houston, TX and Tricia Pecoulas of Chicago, IL. He had many grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A private memorial was held at the San Gabriel Country Club. Donations in his name can be made to the following organizations: Habitat For Humanity Alzheimer's Association USC/ADRC at Keck
