Mary was the widow of the late Gerald Brewer, to whom she was married on August 16, 1947 in Winnsboro. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2016. They came to Malvern in 1986 and joined First Baptist Church, where she attended the Ruth Sunday School Class. She loved to read, was a wonderful cook, and was an avid flower gardener.
She is survived by her son, Dr. David Brewer and his wife, Susan of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a daughter, Susan Morse and her husband Jeter of Springdale, Arkansas; by six grandchildren, Brian, Stephen, and Kevin Brewer; Leigh Anne Davis, Kathryn Miller, and Karyn Jentzsch; 17 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Cheryl Davidson (Bobby) of Branson, Missouri.
Mrs. Brewer was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Her funeral will be in the chapel of J. A. Funk Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Davis officiating.
Interment will be in the Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas.
