Forrest 'Chip' Bailey, Jr., 58, passed away in Bentonville, Arkansas on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Chip was born July 27, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Forrest 'Frosty' and Zola (Mullen) Bailey. He was a resident of Centerton, Arkansas after living in Houston and New York City. He was a retired Houston firefighter, and recently retired as the assistant baseball coach at McDonald County High School. He had a passion for life and loved his family. He spent many hours working to coach baseball from the T-ball level to High School. He was described by friends and family as having a "servant heart." He was survived by his wife of 25 years, Regina Stracener Bailey of Centerton; two sons, Forrest A. Bailey III and wife Gretchen of Spring, Texas, and Craig A. Bailey of Fayetteville Arkansas; his father, Forrest Bailey of Montgomery, Texas; sisters, Marsha Barbaria (Richie) of Fort Myers, Florida; Debbie Clift (Randy) of Montgomery, Texas; Mother-in-law, Wilma Stracener of Houston, and step grandson, Cowan Adams of Spring, Texas. Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, Rogers, Arkansas, with Pastor Jamie Lantzsch officiating. Burial was at *Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
