Lassie was the daughter of the late Luther Joseph Thompson and Ollie Belle English Thompson, and was the last member of her immediate family. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Lawrence, and six brothers and seven sisters.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters, twenty grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
