McKee, Christopher David
Jan. 31, 1988 – Feb. 17, 2017
Age: 29 years 0 months and 25 days

Father: Dave McKee
Mother: Leatha McKee
Spouse: Hayley McKee, nee Greenia

Christopher David McKee was born January 31, 1988, and lived life to the fullest for 29 years. Chris lived with congenital heart disease. We lost him the night of February 17, 2017.

Dave and Leatha McKee raised one of the most intelligent, and caring, men many of us will ever come to know.

He made Hayley Greenia the happiest girl in the world when they were married on October 1, 2016. The couple became Mr. And Mrs. Christopher David McKee, and together, they set an amazing example of true love and friendship.

Chris is survived by:
…his beloved wife, Hayley McKee, nee Greenia;
…his best friend and younger brother, David Tyler McKee. Their childhood was filled with football, mischief, love and support. Two brothers that were always there for each other, no matter what the circumstances.
…Miranda and Adriana Greenia were his two sisters, and he loved them without ever wavering.
…His best friends were Carl Leonard, Daniel Ray, Sean O'Brien, and Kyle Palmateer. Their adventures were endless, and so were the laughs.

Chris was always genuine. He was blunt, and always knew what to say. He enjoyed barbecuing and walking around the flea market on Sunday mornings. Chris always had music playing and he spoiled his dachshund, Buster-dog.

Flying his drone was one of the most loved pastimes. Being outside was how he chose to spend many days. He absolutely lived life exactly the way he wanted to and never let anything or anyone slow him down.

His sense of humor, his determination, and smile will be missed immensely.

Our family would like to honor Chris the way he would've wanted us to. There will be a Memorial held at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac, on February 23, 2017, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be the opportunity at 6:30 p.m. for friends to stand and say a few words on Chris's behalf.

Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family."
