James was an active member in the Disabled American Veterans Organization. He loved watching baseball, game shows, and church services on TV. His favorite thing to do was to call his mother every day and tell her about his day and what the family was doing.
James is survived by a daughter, Mary Brown and husband Aaron of Fayetteville; a son, Allen McWhorter and wife Jessica of Fayetteville; mother, Minnie Rowland Williams of Bremen, GA; sisters, Lisa Reaves and husband David of Waco, GA, and Ann Morrie and husband Tim of Kennesaw, GA; 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Ethan Brown and Erin and Connor McWhorter.
James will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
