A lady of love and whimsical grace, Mrs. Peggy Marie Pilgrim, age 78, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away on Thursday, February, 23, 2017.
Peggy, the daughter of the late Robert Clark Edmonson and Margaret Shelton Edmonson, was born on July 29, 1938.
She has gone on to join her late husband, Raymond Pilgrim, youngest son, John Ashley Pilgrim, and granddaughter, Rachel Pilgrim.
Everyone who visited the Pilgrim home over the years was welcomed by Peggy’s warmth, charm, and hospitality. She was a true artisan of a home filled with delicious food, laughing children, and beautiful furnishings. If you had the pleasure of spending time with Peggy, you knew that you were truly loved and cared for.
She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law; her three sons and daughters-in-law; her brother and sister-in-law; 11 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. She also leaves behind special cousins, as well as countless other friends and loved ones.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 3:30 at Tallapoosa First United Methodist Church. Reverend Sonny Moon will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM.
