Sally was born Feb 24, 1864 in Indiana, the daughter of Reuben S Owen and Sarah Evaline Piercy. She married John Franklin Kain Aug 14, 1890 in Paola, Kansas.
They moved to Tarkio, Missouri where he worked as a carpenter and she was a dressmaker. They later moved to Fulton, Missouri where they lived on a farm until his death. They had no children. According to her death certificate she fell in her yard while pulling weeds and broke her hip, and later died of bronchopneumonia in Clayton, Missouri. Her body was sent back to Fulton where she was buried beside her husband. She has no tombstone.
