Mrs. Foster was born December 3, 1937 to the late Reverend Samuel Staley and Ruby Briscoe Staley in Polk County, NC. She was the widow of William “Dub” Foster.
Georgia was a member of Ridgeville Baptist Church for many years where she served as a Pastor Aide and sang on the choir.
She was preceded in death by: her son, William “Toe Joe” and Billy M. Foster; her sisters, Mamie Murphy and Shirley Staley; and her brother, Joe L. Staley.
A Celebration of the Life of Georgia will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ridgeville Baptist Church, 385 Ridgeville Church Rd., Inman, SC. Pastor Amos Durham will officiate.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
