Doris R. (Young) Bell formerly of Philadelphia Monday, Feb. 20, 2017. She was 89.

Adored wife of 63 years to Frank who recently preceded her in death, she was the loving mother to Francis "Tony" Bell Jr. (Annette) and Regina Kneib (George); grandmother to Kristopher Kneib (Karen); and great-grandmother to their four beautiful children. She was the beloved sister to Loretta Transue (John), Franklin Young and the late Thelma Hogan; and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, she sang in the choir at St. Bartholomew's Church in Philadelphia before moving to Friends Village in Newtown, several years ago. They will both be missed by the Friend's Village community.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, Feb. 27, at St. Andrews Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, followed by a Mass of Christian burial. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, will be at 10 a.m., prior to the visitation.
