Jack D. Benjamin, 68, of 117 North St., Athens, died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at home surrounded by his loving family
He was born February 4, 1935 in Liberty Corners to his parents Charles and Lora Benjamin.
He graduated from Elmira Free Academy.
He served in the United States Marines.
Mr. Benjamin retired as a meat cutter from Acme Markets.
He was a life member of the Bradford County Outboard Motor Club and the Sayre Sportsmen's Club.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and was active in skeet shooting. He also liked to work on small engine repair.
He is survived by; his wife Geraldine (Jerry), at home; daughters and sons-in-law, Shelley and Charles Rudloff of Sayre and Sonya and Tim Davidson of Athens; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Mary Beth Benjamin of Lockwood and Steve and Deb Benjamin of Waverly; sister, Loretta Kukaites of Towanda; grandchildren, Nichole, Jacob, Chase and Brooke Benjamin; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by; his parents; sisters, Roseanna Webster and Grace Sheets; brothers, Charles, Gerald, Harry, Thomas, David, Edgar and Jim Benjamin.
It was Mr. Benjamin's request that there would be no services.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Those kindly wanting to make memorial donations in Jack's name may do so to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Blauvelt Funeral Home, 445 Waverly St., Waverly, NY.
