Asia Denay Wade, 28, of Roanoke, VA passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Christopher West. Those left to cherish and celebrate her memory are her mother, Lori Wade; grandparents, Judy Childress, Elaine Carter and Ralph (Rachel) Wade; siblings, Ashley Wade, Desiree Wade, Tierra Coleman, Cedric Johns and Tyler Mitchell; aunts, Kimmie Branch, Renee Wade, of Ft. Worth, TX, Valerie (Michael) Thorogood, of Dover, DE, Cheryl Wade, of Ft. Worth, TX, special aunt, Vanessa Simmons, Christie Childress and Chiquita Childress; uncle, Marvin (Amanda) Carter, of Jacksonville, FL; special cousin, David Sargent and special friend, Jasmine Hawk. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She loved cooking and attending culinary classes at Virginia Western. Asia also enjoyed reading, dancing, and having a good time, especially with her younger nieces and nephews. She loved working in the community and helping those in need.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. Friends may call on Friday afternoon for viewing at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.Hamlar-Curtis.com.
