Services for Eric Gray will be held Friday, February 24, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend Luke Way and Reverend Fred Thornhill officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Cemetery.
Mr. Gray, 47, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at his home.
Eric was a native of Philadelphia and a longtime resident of Meridian. He was a graduate of Meridian High School, where he was a member of the marching band. In his younger years and into his teenage years, he enjoyed playing recreational baseball. Eric was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to cook, having won several cooking contests. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge and Phi Delta Kappa. Eric will be remembered as a loving and dedicated father, son, brother, and friend.
Survivors include his daughters, Maeghan McKenzie Gray and Shelby Rose Gray, and son, Brandon Jacob Gray, all of Meridian; parents, Malcolm and Judy Gray of Meridian; sisters, Michale Spears and her husband, Marty, of Little Rock and Melissa Lott and her husband, Dee, of Meridian; brothers, Robert Trout and Michael Gray and his wife, Angie, all of Meridian; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jarrod Gray, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Rawson, Joe Roddie, Scott Smith, Michael Johnston, Amos Taylor, and Karl Merchant.
