Louise York Buchanan, 88, of Staley passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Liberty; burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the McPeek family home and the Cox family home.
She was the daughter of the late Rubin Everett and Fannie Elizabeth York and was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie I. Deen Buchanan and her son, Tony Teague.
Surviving are her daughters, Debbie McPeek and Cheryl Cox (Jeffery); grandchildren, Leigh-Ann Hockett (Brian), Aaron Cox (Anita), Megan Lineberry, and Tara Cox (Michael) and great-grandchildren, Leah Cox, Branson Hockett, Gunner Cox, Elleigha Cox, and Nataleigh Hockett.
At the family's request, memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 2235 Spero Road, Randleman, NC 27317 or Randolph Hospice House, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
