MATHES-WORTON, Tresia Jo. Services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Monday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carroll M. Swenson of Calvary Bible Church of Oklahoma City officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home of Midland. She died on Wednesday, April 19, 1995 in the explosion of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Tresia Jo was born on February 24, 1967 in Midland, Texas. She was a 1985 graduate of Greenwood High School. She then attended and graduated from Aladdin Beauty College in 1986. She also attended Midland College, where she had taken classes in business and aerobics. In 1993 she moved to Oklahoma City. She joined the Federal Employees Credit Union in Oklahoma City, where she worked as a teller. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Robert Mathes in October, 1970. Survivors are parents, J.D. and Vickie Mathes of Midland, Texas; grandparents, Tommie Z. Lewis of Midland, Texas and Hazel Ogle of Maryville, Tennessee; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; fiance, Travis Jobe of Big Spring, Texas. The family requests that memorials be directed to: Salvation Army-Midland Corps, 300 S. Baird Street, Midland, Tx. 79701.
Pallbearers: Thomas Bostwick, George Mathes, James Bostwick, Mayford Mathes, Michael Goddard, Junior Mathes; Honorary Pallbearer, Joe Mathes.
