Tommy Cobb was born April 17, 1939, in Coushatta, Louisiana to Clifton James Cobb and Florence Bonnette Cobb. He went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2017. Preceding Tommy in death were his parents Clifton Cobb, Florence Cobb Lofton; stepfather E.M. Lofton; His first wife of 54 years Shirley Brian Cobb; daughter Teresa Wheeler and son Tommy Cobb Jr; four brothers Alvin Cobb, Alton Cobb, J.C. Cobb, and Rudolph Cobb and his sister Faye Cobb.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Hazel Cobb of Bossier City, Louisiana; two daughters, Charlene Scott and husband Jerry of Benton, Louisiana and Donna LeJeune and husband D.J. Of Fairfield, Texas; brother Clyde Lofton and wife Mary; five sisters, Mildred Estrada and husband Mark, Polly Bedgood, Tincey Millican and husband Ronnie, Bonnie Simons and husband Dale, and Sandra Goldson and husband Ollie; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 6 Great Great grandchildren and a host of many other family and friends.
Funeral services honoring the life of Tommy A. Cobb, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday February 24th, 2017 at Faith Community Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the services will be Rev. Mac Brantley, Rev. Dale Simons, and Rev.Victor Carson. Visitation will be at Aulds Funeral Home of Shreveport, Louisiana on Thursday February 23rd, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
