Shirley M. (Hahn) Elmore, 89, passed away on Tuesday, February 21st 2017.
Born in Callicoon, N.Y. on October 19th 1927, she was the daughter of Herbert and Viola Hahn.
Shirley was an administrative assistant at the Watervliet Arsenal for 25 years, retiring in 1986.
She enjoyed traveling and as a member of the Ballston Area Seniors, she coordinated many of their trips.
Shirley liked making crafts and had recently discovered Colorama adult coloring books.
Shirley is survived by her daughters Sherry Demers (Raymond) of Malta and Kimberly Messier (Michael) of Waterford; grandchildren Justin Demers (Jennie), Kyle Demers (Dr. Greg Fenton), Chad Halikias (Tiffany Ciccarelli), Richard Halikias, and Zoe Halikias (Zach Mason); sisters in law and brothers in law Patricia O'Boyle, Judith Fisher, Rosemary Morehouse, Barry Pudney, R. Michael Elmore, Ronald O'Dell; cousins Frank Hahn (Carla); and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Charles Elmore in 2017 and her sister, Marjorie (Hahn) Hughes.
Burial will follow at the Gerald B H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Duell Road in Schuylerville, N.Y.
