Robert Leslie Sellars, age 63 of Shockey Road, Old Fields, WV passed away Monday morning, February 20, 2017 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on August 4, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY he was a son of Norman Leslie Sellars of Shirley, NY and the late Ann Marie (Fleming) Sellars. A man of determination, he was never slowed by childhood polio. He excelled at anything and everything he desired learning from his mistakes and venturing beyond his capabilities.

Surviving is his wife Frances (Srout) Malcolm-Sellars; two sons, Justin R. & Benedetta Sellars of Wantagh, NY and Sean P. & Alison Sellars of Kings Point, NY; two step-daughters, Rebecca & Derek Price of Moorefield, WV and Marie F. & Robert E. Williams of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Jim & Linda Sellars of Manhasset, NY; two sisters, Marion & Mike Camissa of West Sayville, NY and Joan & Mike Seluga of West Sayville, NY; nine grandchildren and a special adopted granddaughter, Savannah Barger.

A funeral mass will be held beginning at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, Route 55 East of Moorefield, WV with Father Manuel T. Gelido as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery, Old Fields, WV. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 PM Wednesday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street.
